FLEURIEU ART PRIZE 2026

The Fleurieu Biennale Art Prize
was established by David Dridan, Greg Trott and Tony Parkinson in 1998 with and in support of local wineries and businesses, with the goal to raise the profile of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Since then, the landscape prize gained prestige and was, for some time, the richest landscape prize in Australia. It is no longer a landscape prize, allowing a wider range of artists and artworks to participate.

Over the years, the prize has been known by different names and has been celebrated in different ways - but has always remained a respected and vital part of the cultural heritage of McLaren Vale in the Fleurieu Peninsula.

This renowned prize is an important and long-standing focal point for the promotion of the McLaren Vale region, particularly its wine, produce, landscapes and tourism.

David Dridan OAM is the Patron Emeritus and Tony Parkinson is our Patron.

The Fleurieu Art Prize finalists for 2026 are:
Alex Linden, Ana Koch, Bindi Nimmo, Brenton Drechsler, Brittany Jones, Caitlin Whitehouse, Carole Bann, Christopher Boha, David Braun, Debbie Pryor, Donovan Christie, Elizabeth Kunoth Kngwarray, Fiona McIntosh, Harriet Geater-Johnson, India Flint, Jane Price, Jane Skeer, John Neylon, Jorji Gardener, Joseph Boas, Judy Morris, Kent Morris, Kerryn Levy, Laura Gent, Laura Wills, Lee Coulthard, Lesley Redgate, Lucy Hersey, Lyn Bartolo, Maiko Sentina, Manuel Moreno Guirao, Margaret Ambridge, Nadera Adil, Nat Ward, Nick Mount, Nicole Clift, Nina O’Brien, Patrice Cooke, Peter Walker, Ro Murray, Rory Branson, Russell Prescott, Ryan William Daffurn, Sam Gold, Sarah Tomasetti, Stella Scanlan, Tam Cao, Tamara Dean, Thom Buchanan, Tony Busch, Wayne Quilliam
